In case you missed my previous post on the English Wine Takeover, never fear, there’s still chance to get tickets.

On Saturday May 21st at The Bond in Digbeth, there’ll be over 60 wines across white, red, rose and sparkling varieties. You can also enhance your experience at the event with these great masterclasses too!

  • Find Your Flavour :: 12:30pm – 1:15pm :: Join Sam Olive from Wine Freedom and be led through four fantastic English wines to find your ideal flavour profile! With a mix of sweet, fresh, smooth and intense wines, you’ll be tasting like a pro after this session with Sam. Tickets are just £5 for this introduction to taste.
  • Flight Over England :: 2:15pm – 3:00pm :: Join Julia Trustam-Eve (English Wine Producers) for this whistlestop tour of English vineyards and taste a selection of delicious sparkling, whites and rosé, whilst learning about the different producing regions of the UK. • How To Make World Class Sparkling Wine :: 3:15pm – 4:00pm :: Join Master Sommelier Laura Rhys from the multi-award winning winemaker Gusbourne as she guides you through three of their delicious sparkling wines. Be guided through their Brut Reserve 2011, their Blanc de Blancs 2011 and their Rosé 2012 and find out why Gusbourne were awarded the “English Wine Producer of the Year” trophy in both 2013 and 2015 at The International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).
